Job Title – Senior Flight Operations Engineer

Salary – Commensurate with experience
Location – Aberporth, West Wales
Start date – no later than April 2024
Qualification – Science degree or Doctorate in relevant discipline (Physics, Maths, Aerospace Engineering, Automated Systems)
Job Description – Candidate will posses 5 or more years experience in the operation of fixed wing UAVs within UK or Europe. The role requires close integration with our mechanical and electrical engineering functions to ensure aircraft operated are optimally configured and tuned for safe automated flight operations. Experience with advanced autopilot systems is essential and a high level of numeracy is required. Flight data analysis, flight simulations, flight planning and operational envelope modelling are to be expected. Diligent management of company records and adherence to our obligations to the Regulator in accordance with out Operational Safety Case and issued Operational Authorisation.

The role is fulltime and will require periods of international travel. UAVE Limited has clients in many continents and we support our equipment purchased by them both remotely and in person.

Job Title – Staff Software Engineer

Qualification – Science degree or Doctorate in relevant discipline (Physics, Maths, Computer Science, Automated Systems)
Job Description – We have a library of existing code which requires management and further new development in line with our project demands. Code is written is a variety of languages (C++, python, others) and features on a variety of hardware platforms and operating systems (RPi, Arduino, PCs). A Staff (2 – 5 years experience) software engineer is to be recruited to help advance our existing systems through incremental upgrades, develop new code to support active projects, and look to deliver novel and unique processes throughout our technical workflow. The requirement includes coding for systems on board aircraft predominantly involved with supporting payload requirements and the successful integration of components. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate prior coding to recognised standards and adherence to best practice.

The successful candidate will appreciate working diligently within a closely integrated team of scientists.

Job Title – Project Delivery Manager

Salary – Commensurate with experience
Location – Aberporth, West Wales
Start date – March 2024
Qualification – Science degree or Doctorate in relevant discipline or equivalent technical Project Management experience
Job Description – Client demands and timeframes overlap within UAVE Limited. The management of Project Delivery is core to achieving a commercially viable product. Using proprietary tracking tools and leveraging prior high technology industrial experience we require a Project Delivery Manager to plan and execute work scopes for in house resources (equipment, engineers, technical resources), manage supply chain operations, goods inventory and allocations and periodic client reporting. Prior experience in aerospace is an advantage, but otherwise the successful candidate will demonstrate project delivery track record in a high tech industry with parallels of scarce resourcing, complex systems interoperability, RnD, regulation and time critical paths to delivery.

The role requires a good understanding of engineering aerospace electrical and mechanical disciplines, industrial standards and advanced industrial processes, ISO9001 and excellent communications skills within a small team context as well as with suppliers.

Candidate will posses 10 or more years experience in project delivery within a UK or European high tech industry.
